PAVA revives recipes of Russian traditional cuisine
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Barnaul, Russia (PressReleasePlanet.com) February 12, 2009 - The Altay grain processor PAVA, situated in one of the major granaries of the country, has created a product which is perfectly suitable for cooking traditional Russian dishes known from the centuries past.
The new cereal meal, which followed the launch of unique protein-enriched flour, was inspired by historical traditions of the national cuisine.
In olden times, along with foods prepared from whole or ground grains, flour gruels were widespread among Russian people. They were given specific names such as “mukovinka” or “salamat”, depending on the consistency and formulation. Over time, almost all of these dishes gradually disappeared from housewives’ collections of recipes, for all their health benefits and excellent taste.
With PAVA’s new finely ground cereal meal, customers will be able to try the rare dishes of great alimentary value, as the company uses an exclusive milling technology opening the way for unique enrichment of the end product.
“Constant search for innovative ingredients for the bakery sector led us to developing a low-fat health product which is a host of a wonderful vitamin complex”, says Angela Kiseleva, PAVA Commercial Director. “Its cooking applications are deeply rooted in our culture and history; however, we believe that its popularity can be universal”.
PAVA’s new cereal can be incorporated in ready-to-eat, hot instant cereals, desserts if combined with sweet flavourings.
